I have had, at last some comments to one of my postings - the last one. For example, " your god sounds interesting. is it actually interested in houses?"
My God is not interested in houses per se. But He is interested in human beings, I believe and in human stuff. Jesus when he walked this earth taught us this.
You need an orthodox christian world view to see the fullest implications of this idea. My respondant(s) to my previous posting seems not to have such a world view, refering to God as 'god' and 'it'. so I don't really know how to best enter into dialogue with him/her/them.
God, if He has done anything 'to' my house, has sent a buyer who, when certain conditions are met (by him and by me) will take possession of this house, just as I will take possession of another elsewhere. One condition is that he will part with a large sum of money (borrowed from the bank) for this privilege- money I will pass on to the vendors of the property I wish to possess.
I won't go into the lengthy explanations needed for non-new zealanders to come to terms with LIM reports and something called a "Safe and Sanitary" (I can see your minds boggling from here). Where God is in all of this process is in part a mystery and only in hindsight do you sometimes see His traces/footprints.
Maybe this doesn't explain anything. Maybe I'm not too concerned. I've got enough to worry about right now without trying to explain God and his ways. You talk to Him. Maybe he'll explain himself to you.
That's all, folks. Tune in tomorrow, next week, whenever. If I speak not from Auckland again, then I will speak next from Whangarei.
Bless God and be happy. Life is short, the grave deep, and Bob Dylan can still sell albums. That must say something to us all.
